At Shahane Saraf, we understand that your jewelry purchase is precious and deserves the utmost care during transit. We are committed to delivering your order safely, securely, and in a timely manner across India. Please read our shipping policy carefully before placing your order.
1. Shipping Coverage
We currently ship to all serviceable pin codes across India. For deliveries to remote or restricted areas, additional transit time may apply. We do not offer international shipping at this time. If you are located outside India and wish to purchase from us, please contact our customer support team via WhatsApp or email for assistance.
2. Shipping Charges
- Free Shipping: We offer complimentary insured shipping on all orders with a total value of ₹50,000 and above.
- Standard Shipping: For orders below ₹50,000, a flat shipping fee of ₹499 is charged. This includes secure packaging and transit insurance.
- Express Shipping: Available for select metro cities at an additional charge of ₹299 over the standard rate. Express delivery is available for Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kolkata.

Please note that business days exclude Sundays and public holidays. Delivery timelines are estimated and may vary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, strikes, or logistical delays. Made-to-order and customised pieces require additional crafting time before dispatch.
4. Order Processing
All orders are processed within 1 – 2 business days of successful payment confirmation. You will receive the following communications via email and SMS:
- Order confirmation upon successful placement
- Dispatch notification with tracking details
- Estimated delivery date and courier partner information
- Delivery confirmation upon successful handover
5. Packaging & Presentation
Every piece of jewelry from Shahane Saraf is packaged with care and elegance:
- Branded Jewelry Box: Each item is placed in a premium branded box with soft velvet lining to prevent scratches and damage.
- Tamper-Proof Packaging: The jewelry box is sealed in a tamper-evident outer package to ensure integrity during transit.
- Certificate of Authenticity: Gold and diamond pieces are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and purity, including BIS hallmark details where applicable.
- Gift Wrapping: Complimentary gift wrapping is available. You may request gift wrapping at checkout with an optional personalised message card.
6. Transit Insurance
All shipments from Shahane Saraf are fully insured during transit at no additional cost to you. Our transit insurance covers:
- Loss or theft during shipping
- Damage caused during handling or transit
- Misdelivery by the courier partner
In the unlikely event of any transit-related issue, we will either replace the item or issue a full refund, at your discretion.
7. Tracking Your Order
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email and SMS. You can track your shipment in real-time through:
- Your My Orders page on our website
- The courier partner's tracking portal
- By contacting our customer support team
8. Failed Delivery Attempts
Our courier partners will attempt delivery up to 3 times. If delivery is unsuccessful after three attempts, the shipment will be returned to our facility. In such cases:
- We will contact you to arrange re-shipment (additional shipping charges may apply).
- Alternatively, you may request a full refund, which will be processed within 7 – 10 business days.
9. Delivery Verification
For orders above ₹25,000, we require OTP-based delivery verification. The registered mobile number will receive a one-time password that must be shared with the delivery executive at the time of handover. This is to ensure that high-value jewelry reaches the intended recipient securely.
10. Shipping Restrictions
- We do not ship to P.O. Box addresses. A valid street address is required for all deliveries.
- Certain remote locations may have limited courier availability, which could lead to extended delivery times.
- Cash on Delivery (COD) is available only for orders up to ₹50,000 and is subject to pin code serviceability.
